Frost Bitten
The boy sits upon a roof,
His mischievous smile hides the pain
The loss, the loneliness.
The heartache.
He stares up at the moon,
Seeking answers.
A deadly silence draws on and on.
Darkness arises, sneaking up on him.
Snatching him away from Dreams, and Hope.
Holds him, comforting him.
Telling him that Darkness will bring him into the light.
He will be seen,
Heard,
By fear, but noticed nonetheless.
Frost masks his heart, He soon loses himself
To the hands of Pitch Black
Leaving behind Hope,
Memories, and Dreams,
For a world he doesn't belong in.
